Zen is not some kind of excitement, but concentration on our usual everyday lives.

I’ve been spending quite a bit of time in Japan for the past ten years since meeting my partner and visiting her parents in Osaka. My home away from home gives me a lot of practice with Street Photography, a category I did not warm up to previously. In fact, I do very little street shooting at home in the US. My experiences in Japan have re-awakened my inner photojournalist and I’m loving it. These images were captured last December and January using a Nikon D800 and Fujifilm X100T. More to come.

Here’s Jim’s interview on aamora and one of his contributions.
